Lauren Ringel is the co-founder of Alo Travels, a Philadelphia and Boston based boutique luxury travel agency specializing in elevated, deeply personalized travel experiences built around exceptional hotels. Alo Travels works with clients who know a hotel is not just a place to stay, but the center of the experience.
Lauren's love of travel started young at the most iconic hotel in Philadelphia. As a child, her dad and stepmom lived at The Rittenhouse Hotel and weekends felt like an immersive introduction to hotel life, from wandering polished hallways to high tea in the lobby and family dinners at the hotel's restaurants. Those early experiences shaped her belief that a great hotel is never just a place to stay. It can be the heart of a trip and often the reason for the journey itself.
That instinct never faded. Today, Lauren is known among friends for turning casual strolls into impromptu hotel walkthroughs, popping into lobbies "just to look around" and emerging with a full understanding of the property, its energy and who it is truly right for. That natural curiosity is now the foundation of her work.
Lauren's background is in strategy consulting in the tech world, which shows up in how she plans trips. Everything is thoughtful, organized, and intentional. She’s the person thinking three steps ahead, catching details before they become issues, and translating how you want a trip to feel into something that actually works in real life.
She is a specialist in Disney Cruise Line Concierge sailings and Four Seasons Yachts, two of the most elevated ways for families to experience luxury at sea. Lauren advises families on these highly sought after sailings, helping them secure the most coveted staterooms, concierge level service, and onboard experiences that transform a cruise into a truly seamless luxury vacation.
When she is not planning travel, Lauren lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband, her two daughters, and a very opinionated poodle-bichon pup who firmly believes five star service should be standard.
